Returns Information

Returns On Full Price Item(s)

If you change your mind or your item is not right - we offer store credit or exchange strictly within in 7 days on full price items only. We do not offer exemptions. 7 days begins from when you have physically received or collected the goods as logged by AusPost or your in-store transaction.

If you have requested a stock order be placed from our suppliers on an item we do not currently stock, this item(s) may not be eligible for return. Such items include bridesmaids dresses and formal dresses especially ordered in. Please enquire for more details if unsure.

Returns of any form other than faulty goods are not available on international purchases. Please ensure you are 100% happy with your purchase if shopping from abroad. Relevant import taxes must be covered by the buyer. Customs will make contact in regards to payment before they are able to release the goods. 

Faulty full price items, if unable to be replaced or repaired first, will be subject to a refund, store credit or exchange depending on which you would prefer.

If you change your mind once you receive the full price product, please follow these steps within the strict 7 day window:

1. Please begin by notifying the store ASAP within the granted 7 day returns period if you wish to return the item(s). Please specify what they are via email to info@shoptexasjane.com. (7 days commences from the day that AusPost notifies us that you have rec'd your goodies!).

2. We will then get back to you and let you know whether you meet the criteria to return your goods (i.e timeframe/sale & markdown guidelines)  

3. Once we get in touch with you and confirm that the goods are eligible for return, please send your goods back to:

When shipping, please ensure your personal details are clearly displayed on the back of the package so we are able to identify the purchase. 

4. Please ensure that your parcel has tracking. Once you have the tracking number please send it to info@shoptexasjane.com. Items lost in transit are the responsibility of the sender.

5. Once we receive your item(s) in their original condition, we asses and issue the relevant refund/exchange/store credit and notify you.

PLEASE NOTE: Once the return is confirmed, goods must be received in store within 2 weeks from the customer receiving goods in their original, unworn resalable condition including tags. If there are traces of self tan, makeup, deodorant or any other prevalent marks or smells on the clothing, Texas Jane reserves the right to refuse the return.

PLEASE NOTE:  Any item(s) which are returned without prior authorisation from TJ or fall outside of the agreed time frame, will be returned back to sender without consultation.

Any items returned outside the return period, or in a condition that indicates being worn or washed in any way, including make-up marks, will not be accepted for return. Texas Jane reserves the right to reject items that do not comply with the above conditions, and will return the item to sender.

Returns On Markdown/Sale/Promotion Item(s)

PLEASE NOTE - ALL SALES ON MARKDOWN/REDUCED/PROMOTION ITEMS ARE FINAL. This includes % off sale. These items are not eligible for return. No exchange/store credit or refund unless faulty. 

We recommend choosing carefully to avoid disappointment, so please get in touch at info@shoptexasjane.com if you have any questions regarding sizing. Texas Jane reserve the right to reject items that do not comply with the above conditions, and will return the item to sender.

Returns On Faulty Item(s)

Faulty items, if unable to be replaced or repaired first will be subject to a refund, store credit or exchange depending on which you would prefer. Return shipping costs will be covered by the store in this instance.

If you receive a faulty product, please use the following steps:

1. Please begin by notifying the store ASAP with photos of the fault and details of your purchase. Please specify what item(s) you are referencing. Please send to email - info@shoptexasjane.com. 

2. We will then do a preliminary check to confirm that you meet the criteria to return your goods. 

3. Once confirmed by the TJ team, please send your goods back to:

When shipping, please ensure your personal details are clearly displayed on the back of the package so we are able to identify the purchase

4. Please ensure that your parcel has tracking and please put a copy of the postal receipt in the bag for reimbursement. Once you have the tracking number please send it to info@shoptexasjane.com. Items lost in transit will be the responsibility of the sender.

5. Once we receive your item(s) in their original condition, they will be assessed by our staff if there is a clear fault. If it is something more technical it will be sent off to the brand directly for assessment. This process can take up to 12 days.

6. Once we have a conclusion we will update you with the findings and where relevant, issue a store credit, exchange or refund. 

PLEASE NOTE: Once the return is confirmed, goods must be received in store within 2 weeks from the customer receiving goods in their original, unworn condition including tags. If there are traces of self tan, makeup, deodorant or any other prevalent marks or smells on the clothing, Texas Jane reserves the right to refuse the return.

If you are approved for a refund, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 business days.

Late or missing refunds:

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@shoptexasjane.com.

Goods Not Eligible For Returns:

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Earrings
  • Underwear
  • Markdown/Sale items

Shipping Returns

To return your product, please refer to steps listed above FIRST.  Once you have completed those steps, you mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as products lost in transit are the responsibility of the sender.
